ALUMINUM POOLS
have become very popular over the last 10 or 15 years. They are the most resistant to rust. The sides are a full 50% thicker than steel pools, they're half the weight and stronger. Aluminum pools are also easier to install or move. They're more expensive than steel pools, but many of our customers say it's worth it. All of our aluminum pools are warranted for a lifetime, because they last! We carry 28 beautiful models of Esther Williams aluminum pools, too!

STEEL POOLS
offer the advantages of low price and strength. A steel pool is very solid. At Texoma Country, we carry 28 models of Esther Williams Symphony Series steel swimming pools. While the size of the coping and uprights will vary with each model, the steel sides of every swimming pool we carry is the same .0185 thickness and every pool is constructed with strong and rust-proof stainless steel fasteners. Modern-day manufacturing methods and powdercoating now offer steel pools with life spans of 20 years or more. Right here in Sherman, Texas, we have steel pools that are up and running, more than two decades old, and still looking good!

ROUND vs. OVAL POOLS:
At Texoma Country, we carry round pools from 15-feet to 30-feet. Every pool we sell is a full 52" high, unlike some dealers who's pools only stand 48", so you'll swim in an honest 4-feet of water. Our oval pools range from 12x24 to 18x33 feet. With a custom order, we can even get them bigger.
Which to choose? Well, consider this: Water is the Great Level-er. With a round pool, the water is evenly disbursed and the water and liner become the primary support for the pool. An oval pool wants to become a round, so the straight sides of an oval pool require expert installation with the proper bracing to keep them secure. That's why one should start with a quality pool like Esther Williams, the # 1 above-ground swimming pools in the world. Our expert installers construct our pools with angled braces along the long sides, with steel straps running under the pool connecting the braces on opposite sides for strength.
Aside from the aesthetics, a round pool will generally offer more swimming area than will a comparable oval, at a lower cost, too. Because of the shape, round pools will offer room to swim laps and room to play games as well.
